Garage questions
Do I still need BookMyGarage or other booking sites?
You can keep them. Your own website means the bookings it brings in pay no commission, and the customer is yours to keep.
Can it link to my garage software or booking system?
Yes. If your system has an online booking link or widget, and most do, we put it on every page. If not, bookings come to you by email and WhatsApp.
How does the “When’s your MOT due?” checker work?
The customer types their reg and the site checks the government’s official MOT records. We apply for free access to the DVSA’s MOT history data for you. Then they can ask for a text reminder a month before it’s due.
Do you need photos of my garage?
Not to start. We source photos to begin with, but your own workshop, team and cars win more trust, so send them on WhatsApp whenever you can and we swap them in.
I specialise in one make. Can the site show that?
Yes. Each make you specialise in gets its own page, so you show up when someone searches for a specialist near them.
How does the October offer work?
The Website plan is normally £79/month plus £99 setup. The first 25 garages to join by 31 October 2026 get £59/month for the first 12 months, then £79/month, plus a free 60–90 second explainer video normally £149. There is a 12-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. The £99 setup fee still applies. Domain registration is separate, typically £10–£15/year. Checkout confirms whether the offer is still available. Or pay £795 once for the separate outright option.
